Is all this grace actually dangerous? In Lesson 6, Paul answers one of the biggest questions raised by the gospel: if we are completely forgiven and no longer motivated by law, what keeps us from simply living unwisely? The answer is our new identity—we were crucified, buried, and raised with Christ. The old self is gone, Christ now lives in us, and grace frees us to live from who we have already become.
