Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan is more than a command to try harder to love people—it reveals the heart of God’s Kingdom. Because Jesus first drew near to us in grace and now lives in us by His Spirit, we can become people who notice, have compassion, and draw near to others from the love we have already received.
